Sarah has worked in criminal law for 11 years and rep'ing in court for 7 years. She started as a court clerk at Fisher Meredith solicitors after finishing her studies in 2006. She quickly moved into a paralegal position representing clients at the police station. She completed her training contract in 2010.
She worked as a newly qualified solicitor at Kaim Todner Solicitors where she became duty qualified and also obtained her higher rights of audience. She began attending the crown court regularly soon after. She transferred to the bar in 2012 and she has been a barrister ever since.
She came up with the idea for streetwise law when as a young solicitor she spent a great deal of time in the youth court. She thought there must be more that could be done to prevent young people becoming involved in the criminal justice system often for very minor matters that could have avoided.
